I've got some new WIP ledge grabbing animations done this week.
Ledge grabbing now has 3 direction shooting support as well.
Any feedback is appreciated.
I'm probably going to add an idle state after the transition from jumping/falling to ledge grabbing.
I've also made some adjustments to the landing animation to allow for "softer" landing and not always play the full animation.
A bunch of other work has also been done but it's mostly stuff I don't really want to show yet.
I try to spoil as little as possible since I'm not a big fan of spoilers, as I've probably mentioned before.
(this is why I mostly use areas I've already shown for mechanic or animation showcasing)

I'm a big fan of this, can't wait to see how it feels. Tiny things like this make a huge impact, character control is the single most important thing to spend time on IMHO.
I also fully support this decision.

Yeah, character control is definitely one of the most important things.
I do want it to feel a little bit heavy though, this is why these transition animations affect player movement in the first place.
